FIP-IFP World Congress of Podiatry

Despina Theodorou attended the FIP-IFP World Congress of Podiatry which was held in Rome, Italy between the 17th and 19th October 2013. During the congress, Despina was able to attend lectures on the latest improvements in the field of podiatry and also interact with colleagues from around the world. Despina also represented Cyprus at the FIP-IFP Annual General Meeting which was held before the congress

EULAR Congress

In June 2013 Despina Theodorou represented Cyprus at the European Congress of Rheumatology which was held in Paris, France between the 11th and 14th June 2014. Despina was a speaker at the congress and presented the volunteer work carried out by Cosmos-Rheuma+, an association of health professionals involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. The presentation focused on the voluntary education and treatment of people living in rural areas.

6th Kritokyriako symposium of Rheumatology

On the 18th October 2014, Despina Theodorou participated in the 6th Symposium of Rheumatology which is organized by the Cyprus and Cretan Rheumatology Associations. The Symposium was held in Nicosia, Cyprus. Despina was invited to give advice to patients regarding the role of foot hygiene and footwear in the improvement of the quality of life of people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
